The Watersmeet Hartpury

Went for lunch today and it was so lovely. We received a very warm welcome, staff very attentive and friendly. They could not do enough for you. The food was very good and at a great price. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be back again.

Came to the Watersmeet for a quick bite after dropping our child off at scouts. Had, hands down, one of the best steak and ale pies I've ever had. Absolutely delicious. Will be returning in the future for sure

We have visited the Watersmeet a few times now , it's a wonderful place , we made a last minute booking for food ( again ) , it was a lovely sunny day so we sat outside while our order of 3 Sunday lunches and drinks was being prepared.There was so much to talk about and look at , a man fishing, another man with a remote control boat ( not a noisy one ) , ducks with ducklings, swans etc , within minutes our lunches were being brought out to us .If you have a big appetite, these lunches are for you , melt in the mouth beef and tender turkey with a big variety of vegetables, absolutely delicious, would recommend this place every time .

Called in here for tea tonight after picking my daughter up from college before heading back to Yorkshire. Very clean, staff and locals were very friendly. Steak meal was top class,, thank you we'll definately call again.

Really friendly place staff couldn't have been nicer. Very chatty and informative. Food was great and the seating outside by the lake was very picturesque. Having a tame Swan that pinches your chips is priceless.

We dropped by off the cuff after the England match and Rob produced 2 great meals. We highly recommend this pub for its friendliness, country decor and seating by a peaceful lake. A really nice spot.

Lovely food, always good portions, cooked to perfection. Will go again
